Valentine Smoothie

This is a great smoothie to help start your valentines day off with a healthy start. My kids loved it and I have to say it’s one of my favorite types of smoothies. But then I’m a huge fan of cherries. It’s also a great way to sneak in some vegetables on your kids. They get the extra vitamins and minerals without even knowing it! I would like to add that I also give my kids vegetables in their original form so they can learn to eat them and love them. I do sneak vegetables into their food though just to help them get those vitamins and minerals they need.

I’ll post the vegetable cubes later so you can see how I do them.

Valentine Smoothie

1/2 cup cherries

2 cubes vegetable cubes

1/4 cup orange juice concentrate

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4-1/2 cup milk

1 6 oz cherry yogurt

1 pineapple slice (optional)

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk if smoothie is too thick.
